Biography

Ian Edelman is currently Web Manager for Hampshire County Council's Recreation and Heritage department. An archaeologist by training and traditional museum curator by background, he became Web Manager for the Hampshire Museums and Archives Service in 1998, having worked for the Museums Service since 1987, and previously at other museums in the UK.

He also undertakes consultancy and training on 'cultural heritage and the web' as well as freelance website development. He has been a Best of the Web Judge Museums and the Web 2006, 2007 and 2008
